Curing Light
The glue that we use to bond the brackets onto the teeth has a special chemical in it which postpones the glue hardening until we want it to harden. This allows us to position the bracket on the tooth accurately without being rushed. When the bracket position is correct, we shine the Curing Light on it, and the chemical in the glue is activated and makes the glue harden instantly. This allows accurate placement of braces and very strong bonds.

Sterilizing Oven
After every use with a patient, the stainless steel instruments are scrubbed and then shaken in an ultrasonic bath and then sterilized in an oven at 500 degrees. After they cool down, they are stored in special holders. This makes the risk of contamination non-existent.

Computers
Every work station and every dental chair has a computer, and all the patient records are maintained in an orthodontic practice software system that is the standard for the industry. We have instant access to patient account information, treatment history, photographs, X-rays and appointments.

Digital Photographs and X-rays
Because our records are all digital, they are available for review within 24 hours when needed and are easily transferred and shared with other offices by attachments to e-mail.

CareCredit Terminal
This electronic terminal enables us to ascertain within minutes if a patient qualifies for low-interest or no-interest financing for their investment in orthodontics or anti-snoring services.

X-ray Machine/Camera
Diagnostic information and treatment status records can be obtained often the same day while a patient is already in the office, without having to schedule another appointment, and the resulting information is available much sooner, at a smaller cost than when we used to refer to an outside lab.

Micro Etcher
When bonding braces onto porcelain, gold or silver teeth, it helps to prepare the surface of the tooth by temporarily roughening the surface by streaming a jet of micro-particles at the tooth surface. This often enables us to successfully attach braces onto teeth or bridges that could not otherwise have been included in the treatment. The tooth surfaces are then re-polished after the orthodontic treatment.
