Dr. Eckhart has authored and illustrated 40 professional articles and has lectured nationally and internationally 125 times to dentists, dental hygienists, and orthodontists.
He is recognized as an expert in Invisalign, having achieved the highest status of Super Elite Premier Provider (which is the top 0.5% in North America), having started over 900 people with Invisalign. He is also a certified Invisalign Teen provider, which is permitted only to orthodontists, and which addresses the problems unique to teenagers. He is the leader of several Invisalign Study Clubs, and he continues to teach general dentists the principles of using Invisalign, and has brought innovations to the field as well.

Dr. Eckhart is also recognized by orthodontists around the world as the creator of the MARA overbite corrector, which helped make the headgear obsolete.

Also, Dr. Eckhart was the guest editor of the California Dental Association Journal specializing in dentistry’s role in treating snoring and sleep apnea, and is recognized by both dentists and physicians locally as being an expert in this field.
